Candle Care & Instructions

TRIM THE WICK

Before each burn always trim the wick to 5mm and remove any wick debris from the wax as this ensures an even burn.

AVOID DRAUGHTS

Candles burn best in still air, however if you can’t avoid draughts (window/door way), ensure you turn the candle periodically to prevent uneven burning.

MAXIMUM BURN TIMES

Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time. If a candle is burning longer than this period, the wick can become damaged and/or the candle jar can become too hot and crack.

PUTTING CANDLES OUT

Use a candle snuffer to prevent wicks from drifting off centre and to avoid wax splash. This will also help maximise the candle’s burn time. Please ensure the candle if properly put out before walking away.

SETTING THE CANDLE MEMORY

To get the maximum burn times from your candles, you need to set the candle memory. To do so, ensure on the first burn, you burn the candle for minimum of 3-4 hours, or until the the pool of wax has extended to the outside rim. This will prevent the candle from forming a tunnel. Each time the candle is lit after setting the memory, the candle will burn evenly out to the rim.

WARNINGS

Please keep candles away from Children and Pets. Refer to warning label on the bottom of each candle for further warnings.
